Here’s one for those of you who are conscious about what you eat/drink and would like to try healthier habits. Many people are not fond of the flavor of papaya BUT if you try it this way the flavor is so much lighter, you will barely notice it, and the consistency it gives to the smoothies is unbeatable! Plus, you get all those enzymes and good stuff papaya offers in a tasty and refreshing drink! This is a very simple and healthy recipe and a good way to introduce a new fruit to the repertoire. If you don’t like or can’t have honey feel free to use sugar or your favorite sweetener. it will work too. You can always use less papaya, I use a lot because I don’t mind and can barely taste it but you do you! Maybe when you get more used to it add a little more, it’s all about habits! This smoothie also makes a great sorbet so you can always store this in a bowl and freeze it for later; you can scoop it in a mimosa or cocktail, melt and use it as a sauce, etc.

Ingredients:
1cup cubed papaya
4 big strawberries
1 pineapple ring
1 cup ice
Lime wedge
2 tbsp honey
